Getting To Know Your Project

  • Renovating and New Construction have their specific approaches. Working with the right contractor is essential, especially one who provides exceptional quality, code-worthy work, and is reliable.

  • We can help you figure out if financing is necessary. If needed, we have access to competitive rates with soft credit checks to avoid adding unnecessary inquiries to your credit report.

  • It all starts with budgeting. Even if you just have a “guestimate,” we are happy to have a conversation with you and assist you in defining what the budget is and help keep you on track. Determining your tier level may help significantly. See the question below.

  • Finishes come in all sorts of different shapes, sizes, and colors. Before connecting with a contractor, we encourage you to invest some time searching for ideas, e.g., Pinterest, Google, etc. Secondly, consider the availability of finishes and have alternative options ready if your first choice is back-ordered or discontinued when your project begins. Finally, we welcome vision boards and references. It will help us to creatively understand your vision.

  • Our teams specialize in procuring local, domestic, and international finishes. We’ll work with you in the designing phase through final procurement. Defining lead times is critical while incorporating them in our Gantt schedule to meet the project’s timeline. We understand INCOTERMS, import, export, and all the planning & execution that involves it all.

  • Architectural plans help speed your estimate process and help us determine which trade partners to include in your upcoming project. This is part of our due diligence and will make your dream project a reality. We recommend having any plans for your home ready to help you look over the best options and designs and ultimately pricing.

  • Every team is different, and we want to learn about your experiences, the why and help create an inviting, successful project from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

  • We offer a variety of designs and consultants you can work with. We are happy to work with a designer you have already hired. We will connect with them and keep them in the flow of communication through the life of your project to help you achieve the design you are looking for.

  • When determining the cost of a project, there are many factors, but they generally fall into “hard costs” and “softs costs.” Hard costs are the costs to physically do the job. For example, the labor, materials, and standard building permit if needed. Soft costs, for example, are the architectural plans, engineering, soil or land surveying, etc... The estimate we give generally includes hard costs. The soft costs are separate as each engineer and drafting agency can be different. As every project is unique, we will help determine what will be needed.

  • While unforeseen conditions are unpredictable, you can rest and have peace of mind. Our combined forty years of experience allow us to adapt to unexpected events to help you achieve the best possible outcome. Therefore, we recommend allocating additional funds over the project budget. We’re here to guide you through the details.

During the initial walkthroughs, new challenges may arise, such as damage to the foundation or seen structural components. Some are identified during the initial visit, and some will be unseen to the naked until exposed during demolition. We offer options to help address circumstances as they arise. We promise that we will report these unforeseen conditions and your approval is required before moving forward with the project.
